Samarium selenate, Sm2(SeO4)3

The Samarium selenate octahydrate, Sm2(SeO4)3.8H2O, crystallises from aqueous solution at ordinary temperatures. Below 10°, the dodecahydrate, Sm.2(SeO4)3.12H2O, separates in shining, prismatic crystals. The following double salts are readily soluble in water (Cleve): - Sm2(SeO4)3.K2SeO4.6H2O; Sm2(SeO4)3.(NH4)2SeO4.6H2O
