Samarium Ionization Energy

The Samarium Ionization Energy is the energy required to remove from atom one mole of electrons with subsequent production of positively charged ion of Samarium.
Sm -> Sm+ + e-
This process can be repeated many times, but the energy cost is increased dramatically. The general equation for the Samarium is:
SmN+ -> Sm(N+1)+ + e-

Ionization Energy

Sm -> Sm1+ = 543.3 kJ/mol = 129.98 Kcal/mol
Sm1+ -> Sm2+ = 1068 kJ/mol = 255.50 Kcal/mol
Sm2+ -> Sm3+ = 2260 kJ/mol = 540.67 Kcal/mol
Sm3+ -> Sm4+ = 3990 kJ/mol = 954.55 Kcal/mol
